Under the bridge, she still flows — carrying our wastewater and the weight of what we discard. In the early morning light, her rocky riverbed still shows through, reminding us of the river she once was and still is. Many pass over her each day without noticing. Yet she quietly carries what we give her, waiting, perhaps, to be seen and cared for.
