By the Vrishabhavathi River Monthly Gathering• November 2025

On a quiet Sunday morning, we all gathered to reconnect with the Vrishabhavathi River. Some participants traveled from the far northern parts of the city, while others cycled several kilometers to join the experience.

As we walked along the river, we reflected on our memories of Vrishabhavathi how we had encountered her in different parts of the city in the past, and how we see her today. The conversations revealed a mix of emotions: some felt hopeful about her future, while others were eager to explore ways they could contribute to her recovery and restoration.

Young children also joined the walk, experiencing firsthand that the Vrishabhavathi is not just a forgotten river of the city, but a living one whose story is still being written.

Though often overlooked, she is still there, waiting to be remembered and restored.
